T-shirts are standard sizes--measured across the chest, under the arms and across the shoulder blades.
small 34-36 inches
medium 36-38 inches
large 40-42 inches
XL 44-46 inches
XXL 50-52 inches
small 6/8
medium 10/12
large 14/16
XL 18-20
Adult small is about the same size as a youth XL, just a few inches longer. A youth large also fits an adult small if you're on the shorter side.
Shirts fit true-to-size unless noted in the product description.
Easy care laundry instructions:
- turn shirts inside out
- wash like colors together in cold water, no bleach
- line dry (recommended) or tumble dry LOW inside out
We washed and dried sample preshrunk shirts 25 times. There was minimal shrinkage after 25 laundry cycles (in this unscientific experiment).
Note: pre-shrunk cotton shirts are no longer the rule. Manufacturers stopped the pre-shrinking process to reduce costs as raw material costs have skyrocketed. Information about pre-shrunk or not shirts is given on each page. The laundry directions from the manufacturer remain the same. My suggestion is to wash in cold water and line dry.
